Key discussions included:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/2705.svg\" alt=\"\u2705\" \/>\u00a0The historical and structural causes of food insecurity<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/2705.svg\" alt=\"\u2705\" \/>\u00a0The impact of racism and economic inequality on Black food access<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/2705.svg\" alt=\"\u2705\" \/>\u00a0The importance of\u00a0<strong>Black Food Sovereignty<\/strong>\u00a0and community-led solutions<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/2705.svg\" alt=\"\u2705\" \/>\u00a0Policy recommendations for creating\u00a0<strong>long-term food justice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A major highlight was the call to action, urging community members, policymakers, and organizations to\u00a0<strong>support Black-led food programs, invest in Black Farmers and Farmers Market, and advocate for equitable food policies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As we continue the fight for food justice, we encourage you to\u00a0<strong>learn more, get involved, and take action<\/strong>.
